Congratulations on being the very first person to complete the Self-Belief Journal! Having done all 365 days, was there a day that struck you the most?

FREYA: Day 302, which is about loving the journey and winning.

There’s a line in there that is so poetic and beautiful it absolutely dropped me.

It’s incredibly inspiring and I still think about it often.

Do you have a favourite journal month?

FREYA: I have a few favourites. Month one has so many actionable techniques and nuggets of wisdom that made me realise this journal is truly in a league of its own. I was like, I get another 11 months of this? Yes, let’s go!

There’s a month dedicated to recognising and celebrating your own wins and progress. I truly believe if everyone did only this their overall sense of wellbeing would raise a few points. This chapter makes life better without truly doing any heavy lifting.

“The last month made me reflect on the enormity of this journal, my journey through the different chapters and how I can proceed with these skills. It concluded in a way that gave me rocket fuel for life.

So much so that I just went straight back to day one the very next day.”

How much has your mindset and self-belief changed or strengthened over the past year?

FREYA: This sounds basic but this journal taught me what actual self-belief is, and what it’s not. Once I got clear and accurate with the concept of self-belief, I knew what I was aiming for and that changed everything.

It also allowed me to understand where my self-belief was previously at, which was lowish and I was actually confusing it with fleeting confidence.

“Having a language for the cognitive and emotional experiences described in this journal was extremely helpful to create that clarity. I’m pretty proud of how far my self-belief has come as a result of committing to this journal – the more I choose it, the stronger the belief gets.”

Did you have any unexpected wins as a result of The Self-Belief Journal?

FREYA: I thought I’d feel sad to finish the journal, kind of like when I knew I was watching the last Harry Potter movie. But when it happened, I was just like WOW! I am truly grateful for this journal and our time together.

“Finishing the journal felt like an injection of rocket fuel!
The ending is quite special.
A book has never made me feel that way upon its completion.”

I got into the journal to help with my surfing career but really the lessons just extend so far beyond sports performance. Another unexpected win of this journal is the fundamental concepts feel infinite and ever applicable.
